Due to Covid-19 we have had to make some adjustments to our 2020/2021 Sleigh Rides. We will be adhering to the recommendations of the State of New Hampshire and the CDC.

Once you arrive we will ask you to wait in your vehicle until your scheduled time. You will then be dropped off at our bonfire to limit the interactions of groups.  You will have 30 minutes of private bonfire time at the end of your ride to warm up.

If there is no snow, a wagon will be substituted for the sleigh, we will offer to reschedule depending on availability, or a gift certificate will be offered for store credit.

Enjoy an old-fashioned sleigh ride on a sleigh all your own.  Our sleighs can accommodate 2 to 14 people.    After your ride, get cozy by the  bonfire to the end of your ride.

You must arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled time to ensure a timely departure.  If you arrive late, you will still receive your ride, but your ride will still end at the time that was scheduled (no discounts will be given for late arrival).

* PLEASE NOTE:  Sleigh Rides depend on a good snow base.  If there is not enough snow, a Wagon will be substituted for groups of 7 or more people.  Rides will be cancelled for groups of 6 or less and your deposit will be returned.

Determining the size sleigh your group requires

We base all of our seating on the average adult.  The numbers listed in our pricing are the maximum number of adults each sleigh will hold.  We consider children under the age of 3 yrs to be "lap children" and would not take up a seat on the sleigh.

What you need to bring...

Yourselves and a blanket! We are unable to provide blankets for our 2020-2021 season.

You are welcome to bring any snacks you would like to enjoy while you are on your ride or warming up by the bonfire. (Be sure to bring sticks if you bring marshmallows!)

Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy

If we determine the weather to be unsuitable for sleigh riding, we will call guests with a reservation for the day in question and attempt to reschedule them to another date.  If a reschedule date cannot be found, the guest will receive a full refund of their deposit.

We will not cancel a reservation for there not being any snow.  If there is no snow, a wagon will be substituted for the sleigh.  If the guest chooses to cancel the reservation and not reschedule, they will forfeit their deposit.

What we consider unsuitable for sleigh riding:
1.  Wind chill below zero degrees
2.  Winter rain
3.  A Nor'easter

We do not consider snow unsuitable. If snow is in the forecast, the ride will go off as planned.

Frequently Asked Questions

Am I going to be riding in a sleigh or a wagon?

Sleighs require a base of 6 inches of packed snow.  We are constantly evaluating our trail conditions.   If there is any way we can get you in a sleigh, that is always our first option.  If conditions are not right for a sleigh, we will substitute a wagon.

Should I tip my driver?

Sleigh Rides are considered a service, however, tips are always appreciated but never expected.

What time does my Sleigh Ride start?

When making a sleigh ride reservation please remember that the time you book is the time the ride leaves.  Always arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time to check in.  If you arrive after your scheduled start time, you will be given a ride equal to the time left on your reservation and no discount will be given.

Do I have to pay when I make the reservation?

All rides must be paid in full at the time the reservation is confirmed.

What should I wear?

Due to COVID we will not be providing blankets. This is an outdoor activity, so please check the weather and dress appropriately.  Hats, scarves, and mittens are always encouraged.

How long should I plan on being at the farm?

We ask for you to arrive 15 minutes prior to your ride, your ride will be 30 minutes and you will have 30 minutes at the bon fire.
